Finding an apartment to rent is a big task and can be both fun and a little tedious.  Before you start, one of the first questions to ask yourself is: how much can I afford to spend on my new apartment?  Even after you’ve arrived at a reasonable amount for rent, don’t make the mistake of thinking that the rest of your monthly paycheck is for shoes, manicures, and dinners!  There are a lot more costs to consider when creating a satchel savvy budget to rent an apartment.
